An effective repair material for facility maintenance: it adheres to oily surfaces and cures instantly for oil and air leaks!

Leak-Aid is an innovative leak repair material that instantly cures upon UV light exposure, making it suitable for various substances like oil, water, and gas.
It possesses the unique characteristic of being "oil-tolerant" , making it ideal as a sealant for hydraulic, air, and refrigerant piping where residual oil is often impossible to completely remove.

FEATURE

01 Adheres to Oily Surfaces

It possesses oil-tolerant characteristics before curing, and oil resistance after curing, making it ideal for oil leaks.

02 Cures in 1 Second with UV Exposure

Its instant curing ability allows it to solidify even while a slow leak is occurring. It also enables immediate on-site judgment of whether a repair is viable.

03 Optimal Flow Properties

It does not drip on vertical surfaces and easily penetrates into small gap.

04 Repairable

After curing, it can be sanded, scraped, or chipped away.

LEAKAID is an innovative leak repair material that instantly cures upon UV light exposure, making it suitable for various substances such as oil, water, and gas. It boasts strong adhesive power and is effective even in situations where conventional repair materials like putties have failed to stop leaks. Possessing "oil-tolerant properties," it is ideally suited as a sealant for hydraulic, air, and refrigerant piping where residual oil is often impossible to completely remove.

◆Key Features

Adheres to Oily Surfaces: Possesses oil-tolerant properties before curing and excellent oil resistance after curing, making it ideal for oil leaks.

Cures in 1 Second with UV Exposure: Its instant curing ability allows it to solidify even while a slow leak is occurring. It also enables immediate on-site judgment of whether a repair is viable.

Optimal Flow Properties: It does not drip on vertical surfaces and easily penetrates into small gaps.

Repairable: After curing, it can be sanded, scraped, or chipped away (chiseled).

◆Primary Applications

Areas where complete oil removal is difficult, or situations requiring emergency/temporary fixes.

Oil Leaks: Flanges, bushings, pinholes in welds and cast iron, radiator fins, etc.

Air Leaks: Pinhole leaks in various joints and components, etc.

Refrigerant Leaks: Pinhole leaks in copper and U-tubes, condenser and evaporator fins, etc.

Other Uses: Manufacturing of resin products, similar to a simple 3D printer.

Oil Leaks

〇Equipment Piping
〇Tanks
〇Flanges
Etc.

Air Leaks

〇Pinhole leaks in piping
〇Various Joints
〇Pinhole leaks in welded sections
Etc.

Gas Leaks

〇Copper Pipes
〇Condensers
〇Evaporator Fins
Etc.

Water Leaks

〇Tanks
〇Piping
Etc.

Coating film and rust must be removed beforehand.
When applying the repair material to an area with an oil film, slightly mix the LEAKAID after application so that it becomes compatible with the oil.
Adhesion will be stronger if the bonding surface is free of oil.
The cured material can be easily removed by applying impact using a flat-head screwdriver and a hammer.

1. Dispense the required amount.

2. Apply to the leaking area.

3. Apply UV light from a distance of 1 cm or less.

4. Repair complete

Operational trial experience exists, maintaining performance from -40°C to 80°C, with successful retention up to approximately 150°C.
Nitrogen pressure test data at 3.8 MPa is available. Further operational experience beyond this range is also available.

・Use in a well-ventilated area.
Failure to do so may be detrimental to health.
・Components of the sealant may volatilize during UV curing. Do not bring your face close to the sealant or directly inhale the vapors during the curing process.
Inhaling the vapors may be detrimental to health.
・Do not look directly at the light source while the UV light is switched on.
This may cause eye damage. Always wear UV-cut safety glasses or goggles during work.
Read the UV light instruction manual, especially the precautions, thoroughly before use.
・If the sealant adheres to clothing, immediately remove the clothing or peel off the sealant.
The sealant becomes hot immediately after curing. If the sealant on clothing or gloves is exposed to UV light, it will cure and may cause burns.
