A Leak Detection System for Pinpoint Inspection of Leak Locations
Fluorescent Dyes for Oil and Water Leaks are special dyes mixed in minute quantities into oil or water to locate the source of a leak. When illuminated with a Ultraviolet light, the dye fluoresces, making the leak location easy to detect.
This technique is utilized across various fields, including equipment maintenance and product inspection.

♦Primary Target Fluids for Inspection

Fluorescent Dyes for Various Oils
〇Add a standard concentration of 0.05 to hydraulic fluids (Example: approximately100mL for a 200L tank)
〇For oils that are darker in hue (used/aged oil), increase the concentration to approximately 0.2%.
〇The dye's effect is semi-permanent, lasting until the oil is changed.
〇Numerous safety and performance documents, such as MSDS, along with case studies, are available.
Fluorescent Dyes for Water💧
〇Add a standard concentration of 0.05% to water-glycol. For pure water, add approximately 0.01%
〇Useful for pre-shipment inspection of cutting fluids in machine tools and water-filling tests for tanks.
♦Primary Applications
①Equipment Maintenance:Inspection of oil and water leaks in machine tools and industrial machinery.
Example Objectives: Leakage reduction, 5S implementation, and cleanliness improvement.
②Product Shipment Inspection:Inspection of various components in heavy machinery, construction equipment, machine tools, and industrial machinery (e.g., hydraulic units, engines, injectors, pumps, piping).

♦Usage Procedure (In the case of a Hydraulic System)
1、 Addition
Add the fluorescent dye to the oil tank at a concentration of 0.05%
2、 Circulation
After addition, operate the equipment for half a day to one full day to ensure thorough circulation of the oil and dye.
3、 Inspection
Shine a UV light on the areas suspected of leakage.
4、 Completion
After repairing the leak, clean the area of the fluorescent dye and perform a check again.
