Quick Couplings & Compressed Air Piping Systems

Prevost was founded in France in 1978 and specializes in piping systems and quick couplings for compressed air and fluids. Adopted in over 80 countries with more than 7,000 product references, over 150 employees handle development and manufacturing. 90% of products are manufactured at their own facilities in France and Italy, and they hold strict international certifications including ASME QPS, TUV SUD ISO 9001, AFNOR, and EU 2014/68 (Pressure Equipment Directive).

Prevost couplers are the highest quality products, thoroughly pursuing and improving the causes of leaks. The button-push design for connection release makes attachment and detachment easy and safe. PPS (Prevost Piping System) is a 100% aluminum compressed air piping system that is corrosion and scale free, weighing approximately 1/3 of iron pipe for excellent workability. Push-fit connections require no welding or threading for quick installation, with a 10-year warranty.

Applications & Use Cases

Automotive Paint Lines

Stable supply of clean compressed air to painting processes. 100% aluminum PPS piping produces zero corrosion dust, eliminating contamination risks that affect paint quality.

Food Factory Clean Air

Achieve ISO 8573-1 compliant air quality management. The FRL system reliably removes oil and moisture, supplying compressed air that meets the high hygiene standards required for food production lines.

Large-Scale Plant Piping Renewal

Replace aging iron piping with PPS aluminum piping to reduce piping weight by 1/3. Push-fit connections requiring no welding or threading dramatically shorten installation time, minimizing impact on operations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is installation of the PPS piping system easy?

Simply insert the pipe into the PPS fitting and tighten the nut—a simple installation. No adhesive or welding is required, and only minimal specialized tools are needed. Made of lightweight aluminum, it can be installed by one person.

What are the advantages over conventional steel piping?

Made of 100% aluminum, it does not rust and there is no scale formation on the inner surface. At about 1/3 the weight of steel piping, it offers excellent installability, and the leak-free seal structure significantly reduces compressed air loss. It comes with a 10-year warranty.

What is the maximum pressure?

It supports continuous use up to 16 bar (232 psi). It also supports vacuum (-0.98 bar) and can be used in a wide range of compressed air systems.

Is it possible to replace existing steel piping with PPS?

Yes. Because PPS has a modular design, partial replacement of existing piping is possible in stages. Adapters for connection with steel piping are also available, allowing gradual transition without complete construction shutdown.

Can it also be used for vacuum piping?

Yes. PPS supports vacuum down to -0.98 bar. In addition to compressed air, it can also be used for vacuum lines and inert gas piping.
